Barbados is Now a Republic and Rihanna is Among its National Heroes

"May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation", said Barbados' Prime Minister declaring Rihanna its national hero, as the Caribbean island national became the world's newest republic after 400 years under the British flag.
