Galwan Valley Clash Martyr Colonel Santosh Babu Accorded Mahavir Chakra Posthumously

The commanding officer of the 16 Bihar regiment, Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, who led against the Chinese attack in eastern Ladakh’s Galwan Valley in June last year, was posthumously awarded Mahavir Chakra by President Ram Nath Kovind on 23 November. The award by received by Babu’s wife B Santoshi and mother Manjula.
