Of course, it is always a very big risk to venture into such a classic. The very good performance of Dana Fuchs has certainly contributed to the success of the project.

Excerpt from a Rockpalast live concert

Instrumentation:
Dana Fuchs - vocals
Jon Diamond - guitar, harmonica
Walter Latupeirissa - bass
Carter McLean - drums

The recording of the concert took place on 18.03.2010 at the Crossroads Festival in Bonn.

Dana Fuchs already shared the stage with Little Feat, Marianne Faithfull or Etta James before the producers of the Off-Broadway musical "Love, Janis" hired her on the spot for the role of Janis Joplin. The first own CD was released in 2003, from then on Dana's concerts became more numerous and successful.
Dana Fuchs was inspired by Sixties R'n'B, but also by Lucinda Williams, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. A vocal wonder and bundle of energy unparalleled in current US rock.
