Medieval ship in Tankerton protected by Historic England

A Tankerton ship dating back to the 16th century is now being protected by Historic England.
The ship was found by lucky local historians last year on mud flats in the Whitstable suburb.
The boat is the only known surviving medieval wreck in the South East and this week it has been excavated.
