Angry residents in Rainham have demanded plans for more than a thousand homes in their town be scrapped.
Today dozens of people handed over a petition to AC Goatham and Sons who also want to build a school and two care homes.
The fruit farmers have applied for planning permission but now face a battle with protesters.
