Hopes new ferry service taking unaccompanied cargo from Sheerness to Calais could completely revitalise the town

Peel Ports and DFDS have announced a new daily service which is due to run alongside Dover and could reduce the amount being shipped from elsewhere in the UK.
It's estimated to create up to 100 jobs in Sheerness but it comes with concerns that lorries could start snarling up local roads.
