Wat Rat Prakong Tham is a Rat temple under the Maha Nikaya Sangha, located in Village No. 1, Ban Khlong Om , Sao Thong Hin Subdistrict, Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province. The current abbot is Phrakhru Kittiwiriyaporn (Mahaweero Wittaya Phetcharapan)
Wat Rat Prakhong Tham has a history of construction dating back to the year 2256 in the late Ayutthaya period. but assumed to be built earlier But lack of maintenance, so it is in disrepair. no monks Until the villagers called Wat Bat. Later, in 1950, Doctor Daeng Phum Lek and the villagers renovated and developed it to prosper and changed the name of the temple to "Wat Rat Prakhong Tham" The temple was granted Wisung Khamsima on January 31, 1962.
