UP govt recommends CBI probe in Manish Gupta murder

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big decision in the Manish Gupta murder case. The Yogi government has recommended a CBI inquiry into the Manish Gupta murder case. Noatbly, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a businessman Manish Gupta was beaten to death by the police. The investigation and inquiry of the SIT will continue till the CBI takes over the investigation, but the policemen have not been arrested yet. Gupta, a 38-year-old property dealer, was staying along with two friends in the hotel when the incident happened. Police said they had information that suspicious men were living at the hotel. They entered the hotel room where Manish Gupta was staying with his two friends to check their identities on Monday night. Police claimed while they were questioning the trio, Manish Gupta fell on the ground as he was drunk and suffered a head injury. While the family is saying that he has been murdered.
