Kabul Airport Blasts: India, U.S., UK React To Suicide Bomb Attack Targeting Evacuation Efforts In Afghanistan

Joe Biden, US President vowed on August 26 to hunt down the perpetrators of the suicide bombings that killed 13 US troops & 60 civilians in Kabul. Biden said the US will not be deterred from its aim to evacuate civilians from Afghanistan. “We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay,” said Biden. General Frank McKenzie, Head Of US Central Command said that the US is “continuing to execute the mission.” UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned the twin suicide blasts at the Kabul international airport. Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson of the Ministry Of External Affairs tweeted, “We strongly condemn the bomb blasts in Kabul.” Jens Stoltenberg, NATO secretary-general tweeted, “Our priority remains to evacuate as many people to safety as quickly as possible.” Cricketer Rashid Khan tweeted, “STOP KILLING AFGHAN PLEASE.” Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the attack.
