The news is that the Taliban has now taken control of the Afghanistan Cricket Board as well. Interestingly, Abdullah Mazari, a former cricketer who played two ODIs for the country, accompanied the Taliban fighters to the board's office.A few days ago, the board's CEO, Hamid Shinwari, confirmed that the Taliban loves cricket and is in full support of the game. He believes that the future of Afghanistan's cricket is not in danger at all.

अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में स्थिति इस वक़्त बिलकुल भी अच्छी नहीं है ऐसे में एक और बड़ी खबर सामने आ रही है। खबर ये है की तालिबान ने अब अफ़ग़ानिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड पर भी अपना कब्ज़ा जमा लिया है। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि देश के लिए दो वनडे खेलने वाले पूर्व क्रिकेटर अब्दुल्ला मजारी तालिबान लड़ाकों के साथ बोर्ड के कार्यालय में गए थे। कुछ दिन पहले ही बोर्ड के सीईओ हामिद शिनवारी ने ये पुष्टि की थी की तालिबान को क्रिकेट पसंद है और वो इस खेल के पूरे समर्थन में है। उनका मानना है की अफ़ग़ानिस्तान की क्रिकेट का भविष्य बिलकुल खतरे में नहीं है।
