There’s growing opposition to the nomination of Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, as the next Speaker of Parliament. Some parties say they won’t participate in today's process, to elect her. The ANC nominated her to take over from Thandi Modise, who's moving to cabinet. Other concerned groups outside say she's not fit for the role.
