Police on Thursday registered an FIR in the "suspicious" death of Dhanbad District Judge Uttam Anand. Chief Justice of India NV Ramana also spoke to the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court about the case.
Uttam Anand was killed after being hit by a speeding tempo on Wednesday while his morning walk. Hours later, the investigation into the CCTV footage seemed to indicate that the incident may have been deliberate and not an accident.
