They're burning down the churches
they're painting the passports orange
they've toppled John MacDonald,
and put Canada's day in storage.
Here come the blind prime minister
they’ve got him in a trance
looks like reconciliation
never stood a chance,
And the riot squad they’re restless
They need somewhere to go
As Lady and I look out tonight
on Desolation Row

June 21 Fires, which police consider suspicious, destroyed Sacred Heart Mission Church on Penticton Indian Band land Penticton burnt to the ground
June 21 - St. Gregory Mission Catholic Church on Osoyoos Indian Band land burnt to the ground
June 26 - St. Ann’s Catholic Church on the Hedley Native Reserve of the Upper Similkameen Band near Oliver Catholic church burned to the ground
June 26 - Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on the Chopaka Native Reserve over 100 years old - Lower Similkameen Indian Band, near Osoyoos. burned by arson and totally destroyed .
June 26 - St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Gitwangak First Nations land, 100 yrs plus between Terrace and New Hazelton. fire damaged
June 28 - Siksika First Nation Catholic Church Calgary
June 29 - Siksika Anglican Church east of Calgary damage
Wed June 30th - St. Jean Baptiste Church in Morinville Alberta over 100 yr old community centrepiece and Town meeting center totally destroyed when burned to the ground.
June 30th Nova Scotia St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church on Sipekne'katik First Nation northwest of Halifax damaged by arson
July 1st - Downtown Yellowknife.. St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral Parish heavy interior and smoke damage
Many more Churches were vandalized and paint was thrown on them ( 11 in Calgary alone ) and Colonial statues of QEll , Queen Victoria and Captain Cook tore down by angry mobs ?
July 1st - the 108-year-old Anglican church was destroyed by a fire - Gitwangak First Nation’s land in BC.
July 5th - The House of Prayer Alliance Church in Calgary was attacked by arson.
July 8th, 2021 - Polish RC Church had been there for well over 100 years near Redberry Lake NW of Allison Saskatoon - was burnt to the ground and totally destroyed
Jul 19 Surrey BC - St George Coptic Orthodox Church was burnt to the ground and all contents totally destroyed because of arson,
Although a large majority of residents in Canadian cities such as Halifax, Montreal, Victoria and Hamilton had all expressed their wishes to retain, maintain and to leave local statues and historical artifacts just as they are, unfortunately, these statues were either destroyed in criminal acts by vigilante mobs , or undemocratically ordered removed from longtime sites without a public vote or public consultation, and then hidden away from view by order of local Mayor and council ?
also Apr 5, 2021 Manitoba, - St. Theresa-Point Roman Catholic Church burned to the ground and totally destroyed in St. Theresa Point First Nation,
