UP में Block Chief Election के लिए हिंसा के बीच वोटिंग हुई. 825 सीटों पर हुए चुनाव में 349 सीटों पर निर्विरोध नतीजे घोषित हुए हैं. वहीं BJP ने 6 सौ से ज्यादा सीटों पर जीत का दावा किया है. वहीं Samajwadi Party दूसरी बड़ी पार्टी बनने में कामयाब रही. इस चुनाव के दौरान कई जगहों से हिंसा, पत्थराव और गोलीबारी की खबरें भी सामने आई हैं.
