Temporary COVID disaster payment announced for Victorians

Workers affected by Victoria’s extended lockdown will now be able to access a new Federal Government payment. Danielle Wood, the Budget Policy and Institutional Reform Program Director at the Grattan Institute, says the payments are close to the poverty line.
