Hundreds of Coal Ash Dumps Lack Regulation

There are more than 1,300 coal ash dumps across the US similar to the retention pond that failed in Tennessee. Most of them are unregulated and unmonitored and contain billions more gallons of fly ash and other byproducts of burning coal.
