Young people have no interest in football, Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez
  • 3 years ago
Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, said on Monday that he thought young people have begun to lose interest in football and that one of the ways to rekindle their interest again was to change television and "adapt to the times," hinting that the possible introduction of the European Super League will help on this front.

"We should do is analyze why 40 per cent of young people 16 to 24 years old have got no interest in football," he said.

"If young people find football matches too long it may be because they are not interesting enough... or maybe we might have to make the football matches shorter," he added.
