U.S. Marines with 2d Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, conduct a live-fire communication and observing exercise for controlling naval gunfire and surface fire support at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC., June 4, 2020.

The USS Mahan (DDG-72), an Arleigh Burke class destroyer assigned to #USNavy 2d Fleet, fired its Mark 45 5-inch gun in support of 2d ANGLICO, fostering U.S. Navy- #USMarine Corps integration during the annual exercise.

2d ANGLICO holds annual training to call for fire from #naval vessels through their organically assigned naval gunfire liaison officers. 2d ANGLICO has maintained this specialized capability since its inception in 1949
