Dustak: UP Jal Nigam hasn’t paid staff for last 6 months

25 thousand employees of Jal Nigam in Uttar Pradesh neither received salary nor pension for the past six months. The salary crisis from Diwali continues till the arrival of Holi. The Jal Nigam Department has to pay around 1200 crores of salary and pension to its workers. While only Rs 2100 crore is owed by Jal Nigam Department to other government departments of UP.
