A LADY COMMANDOS SHOOTING COMPETITION HELD ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AT SSU HEADQUARTERS

A Lady Police Commandos shooting competition held in wake of International Women’s Day at Special Security Unit (SSU) headquarters.

Lady police commandos of SSU participated in the competition and exhibited their professional skills in small arms category.

Lady Police Commando Arooba secured 1st position in the event, Lady Police Commando Tayyaba got 2nd and Lady Police Commando Aiman got 3rd position.

DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed was the chief guest of the event who lauded and felicitated the winner contenders.

DIG S&ESD addressing the event said that women are pride of our nation and paid tribute to all the strong women who are playing their exceptional roles in every walk of life.

He further said that he believes in gender equality and equal opportunities are provided to the lady commandos of the unit. Lady commandos take active participation in all the professional competitions besides operational duties.

Later, the chief guest distributed prizes amongst the position holders of the shooting competition.
