Much of northern Europe remains in the grip of severe snow storms - as the cold weather of recent days shows little sign of easing. Poland, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK are amongst those countries that have seen plunging temperatures and widespead travel disruption. The BBC's Tim Allman has more.
