Dashcam clip shows smash and grab in San Francisco traffic

A not-so-subtle thief broke into a moving Prius on in the middle of San Francisco traffic.
In the clip, posted on Twitter a black Honda pulls up alongside a silver Prius, which keeps moving in the direction of traffic as a man pops out of the Honda’s backseat.
The Prius stops a few feet ahead, and the man in a dark hoodie and dark pants pounces, according to the clip — smashing his target’s rear-window and making off with the stolen goods in faster than nine seconds.
The victims stormed out of their car in disbelief — but not soon enough to catch the culprit, who zipped away with $7,000 worth of camera equipment and a drone, according to a crowdfunding page.
The incident occurred at the Interstate 80 on-ramp near 8th Street.
