A 25-year-old from Pune has invented a machine that can ensure the safe disposal of sanitary napkins. Ajinkya Dahiya, a recent engineering graduate, set up his own startup and has developed a machine called Padcare which helps in the safe disposal of sanitary napkins. The Padcare Lab machine segregates plastic and cellulose drain from used sanitary napkins and makes them available for recycling purposes.

महाराष्ट्र के पुणे में रहने वाले 25 साल के ग्रेजुएट अजिंक्य दहिया ने सैनिटरी नैपकीन को नष्‍ट करने के लिए रिसाइक्लिंग मशीन बनायी है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस मशीन को बनाने का ख्याल उन्हें कॉलेज के लास्ट ईयर में आया. बता दें कि इस मशीन से 10 घंटों में 1,500 पैड्स को रिसाइकिल किया जा सकता है. उन्होंने कहा कि उनका लक्ष्‍य महिलाओं को स्‍थायी रूप से शौचालय स्‍वच्‍छता समाधान उपलब्‍ध करवाना है.
