In an unusual punishment for not wearing a mask, authorities in the Indonesian island of Bali enforced strict regulations to prevent flouting of the Covid-19 norms. Many foreigners have been spotted not wearing a mask, while more than 70 were fine, some didn't have money to pay the fine and had to do 50 push-ups as punishment. Video footage circulating on social media this week shows tourists in T-shirts and shorts being made to do the exercise in sweltering heat as masked security officials stood over them.
