I'm showing ALL the sets so you can see how it takes me a couple of sets to get into the groove of the stretch in the kneeling position. I've been having trouble with a small Quad tear from a couple of years ago and I really needed to stretch that Quad out. Knowing that Pullover & Presses were my next workout , I opted to get the Quads stretched out as I lifted. The beauty of this movement is that as the Press gets heavier, the more my hips get gets pushed down & back which intensifies the Quad stretch. By the time I finished up my last set, that Quad felt 100%!! Praise the Lord!!
I used a Pullover done Dead Stop style from the top of the head as was originally done back in the 1800s.This was a BIG PR at pulling over from a dead stop. I have no doubt that these can help get a stronger start on your Pullups.
The Kneeling position I use here is in my opinion, a great drill for building a better arch for Bench Pressing. If you want a Quad stretch as you build a better arch for your Bench Press, the Kneeling Pullover & Press just may be your cup of tea! God Bless!!
