Victim tells real horrors of GBV

A woman who survived horrific abuse at the hands of her former boyfriend is encouraging others to speak out and not be ashamed to leave their partners. This as one of the oldest shelters for abused women and children in the Western Cape, the Saartjie Baartman Centre, says gender-based violence is increasing. eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana has the story.
