As thousands of farmers continue their march towards Delhi after breaking barricades, braving police batons, tear gas and water cannons, the Delhi Police is gearing up to detain the protesting farmers. Now, the Delhi Police has sought permission from the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government to convert nine stadiums in Delhi into temporary jails to accommodate the farmers who are, or will be, detained during the 'Delhi Chalo' protest march.
