Anger over job cuts at SABC

The SABC has decided to withdraw retrenchment letters issued to staff on Tuesday. This after a heated meeting between employees and management over planned retrenchmentS. The Public Broadcaster plans to retrench around 400 employees as part of its turnaround strategy. It posted a R500 billion loss this financial year.
