French artist Patrick Tresset has created a media art installation which features five robots that can sketch a portrait in 30 minutes. Tresset, who is also a painter, programmed the robots to draw spontaneously and use different styles. The artist said he designed the robots to explore human relationships with technology and art. His robots will be in Hong Kong on November 11-22, 2020, to sketch people during sessions that will be live-streamed. The exhibit 5RNP, short for “Five Robots Named…
