International Friendship Day 2019: Date, Significance & History of the Day Dedicated to Friends

International Friendship Day is celebrated on July 30, all across the globe. It was originated by the founder of Hallmark Cards, Joyce Hall back in 1930. The day is celebrated to cherish friendships that we value in our lives and to dedicate a day to our peers. The UN declared International Friendship day on July 30, however, some countries including India, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain etc. have their own dates for this day.
