A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Rangreth area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday. In a big success for the army, Hizb Chief Dr. Saifullah has been killed and another terrorist has been captured alive during the gunfight.Dr. Saifullah took over as Hizb Chief after killing of Riyaz Naikoo in May this year. The gunfight broke out soon after a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Rangreth. A cordon and search operation is underway in the area.
