PUBG Banned In India; WeChat, Ludo World Among 118 Chinese Apps Banned By The Indian Government On September 2

Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on September 2 banned 118 more mobile applications, including the very popular PUBG. Ban on these mobile apps was done in the interest of "sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, the security of the state and public order" invoking Section 69 of Information Technology Act, said the Union Ministry. Among the most popular apps banned by the ministry PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik, PUBG MOBILE LITE, Ludo World, WeChat Work and WeChat and others.
