An incident that is causing ripples on social media has led to yet another debate about feminism after a few women's rights activists attacked a YouTube "vlogger" Vijay Nair. The latter had uploaded a highly offensive video in which he had insulted feminist activists and feminism. Police arrested Vijay P Nair over the charges of making offensive remarks against women in a video on his YouTube channel. He was taken into custody on September 28 from his residence in Kalliyoor.
