Heavy fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan continues to rage in disputed region

Clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan have raged for over a week now, over the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Hundreds of people are known to have been killed since the clashes first erupted on September 27th.
The two former Soviet republics have been locked in a territorial dispute for decades over Nagorno-Karabakh,... which is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but is controlled by local ethnic Armenian forces.
The latest fighting has mainly taken place in the area, but has been spreading further afield in recent days.
Most of the international community has already called for an immediate ceasefire.
