इंडियन नेशनल लोक दल के नेता अभय सिंह चौटाला ने कहा कि हरियाणा के गृह मंत्री अनिल विज द्वारा दिए गए बयान कि किसानों पर लाठीचार्ज नहीं हुआ, बेहद निंदनीय है. उन्हें अनिल विज से इस बयान के लिए किसानों से माफी मांगनी चाहिए. उन्होंने कहा कि वो खुद 85 साल के एक बुजुर्ग से मिलकर आए हैं जिनको लाठियों से पीटा गया है. इस हमले में उनका पैर टूट गया. उस गांव के करीब दस और भी लोग हैं जिनको लाठियों से पीटा गया.
