Ramaphosa applauds journalists

President Cyril Ramaphosa has paid tribute to the media for its role in efforts to contain the coronavirus. He says it has done so under extremely trying conditions. In his weekly letter, Ramaphosa laments the devastation of the media industry during lockdown, including heavy job and income losses, as well as closures of publications.
