Broken barrier at the Cliffs, North Shore, branded a 'potential death trap'

The bust concrete barrier, which has been secured by plastic fencing which blows over easily in the coastal winds, has been described as a 'potential death trap' by a senior Blackpool councillor. Sited on the Illuminations trail, opposite Carlin Gate, fears have been voiced for the safety of family walking the world famous Lights.
