Effective this week, inspections will be carried out on subways...and taxi drivers will be able to refuse passengers not wearing masks.
Buses will undergo more disinfection work and it will be mandatory for people in the capital city of Seoul to wear masks at all times while in public...even while jogging or cycling.
Cafes are no exception either following a recent cluster infection at a popular coffee shop franchise in the greater Seoul area.
Meanwhile, the defense ministry has ordered all service members to wear masks at all times both indoors and outdoors.
