One year since UCT student's murder

UCT student Gabi McDonald says today is a sad day that should be commemorated. Today marks a year since former student Uyinene Mrwetyana was murdered after visiting Clarinch Post Office. Days later, her remains were found buried in a shallow grave. Local residents decorated the post office and Claremont Police Station with flowers and ribbons in an effort to honour her life.
