Women's month - Celebrating phenomenal women

It is Women's Month and in celebrating females doing phenomenal things in society, University of Cape Town's Associate Professor, Salome Maswime is one of them. She is the recipient of the One Africa award for Research in Healthcare. It recognises her cutting edge advancements in the world of medicine in obstetrics and gynaecology, putting women's healthcare at the forefront. She says her passion in this field began with her falling in love with the labour ward and the joys of heathy child birth.
