Police Minister Bheki Cele releases annual crime figures

While serious crime is down by a marginal 2.7 percent between last April and March 2020 murder is up by 1.4 percent - that amounts to over 21,000 people who were killed. Rape has also increased by 1.7 percent. Police Minister Bheki Cele presented the annual crime statistics in Parliament today.
