The structure, found in the city's Arnona neighborhood, was built in the 7th or 8th century BC.
It's thought to have been used for the storage and processing of agricultural produce.
Archaeologists say they found a huge collection of jars, with over 120 seal impressions in ancient Hebrew script inside.
The antiquities authority says it's the largest and most important collection of its kind to be discovered in the region.
