Logan Jamal was driving his Tesla on July 10 when his bumper suddenly and alarmingly fell off.

It was a rainy day in Boca Raton, Florida, when Logan pulled over thinking he was rear-ended by another car. He later realized the bumper of his Tesla just fell off.

"I was decelerating getting ready to go into the turning lane to turn into the plaza when we heard a huge BOOM," Logan said. "I thought we got nailed in the back by another car! We pulled into the closest parking lot and were in shock when we saw my whole rear bumper torn off."

"I was in shock. I took pictures and watched the video right away. Then I called the Tesla Roadside Assistance and walked over to where it happened. I watched dozens of cars drive over the same spot with no issues."

"My dad had to email the manager with our lawyer, and the manager just called my dad and said it's a known issue, and they are covering it all for me and bringing a tow to my house. They're ordering new parts for it and fixing it."
