Lockdown forces Irish Paralympic hopeful to tread-mill water

Blind aspiring paralympian Leo Hynes has fashioned himself a "treadmill pool" to maintain training during Ireland's coronavirus lockdown. In a homemade micro-lido in his front garden, Hynes swims tied in place by a bungee cord, allowing him to keep up his technique for the triathlon in the delayed Tokyo 2020 games. Social distancing measures mean he cannot train as he usually does, tethered to a guide.
