The benchmark KOSPI plunged over four percent at the opening bell at around 2,088.
As of 11:30 AM Korea time,... KOSPI was down two-and-a-half percent.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ was down 4-and-a-half percent upon opening.
Wall Street recorded its biggest one-day drop since mid-March on Thursday due to worries of a COVID-19 resurgence,... coupled with the Fed's gloomy outlook.
