If You Suffer From Migraine With Aura, Keep A Close Eye On Your Ticker

A new analysis reveals women 45 and older who suffer migraines with aura might be at increased risk for heart disease.
Migraine with aura -- also called a classic migraine -- is a recurring severe headache.
It strikes after or at the same time as sensory disturbances like flashes of light, blind spots, and other vision changes or tingling in the hand or face.
Such women are twice as likely than those with high cholesterol and obesity to have a heart attack, a stroke, or have another heart disease.
According to UPI, women are three times as likely to experience migraines as men.
Roughly one in four US households has at least one resident who experiences migraines.
