West Cricket Board announces Test Squad for England Test Series, Holder to lead | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Cricket West Indies (CWI) selection panel on Wednesday (June 3) named a 14-member Test squad and list of 11 reserves for the proposed tour of England 2020 and the trip is subject to the final approval of the UK Government. West Indies are holding the Wisden Trophy and they will defend it in three back-to-back Test matches to be played behind closed doors, starting on July 8. West Indies players, who will all be tested for COVID-19 this week, are scheduled to fly to England on private chartered planes on June 8.

वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट टीम इंग्लैंड के दौरा करने के लिए तैयार है. इस दौरे पर जाने वाली 14 सदस्यीय टीम के नाम की घोषणा कर दी है. टीम की कप्तानी जेसन होल्डर के हाथों में ही है. इस दौरे पर जाने के लिए तीन बड़े खिलाड़ियों ने मना कर दिया गया है इसकी वजह से टीम चयनकर्ताओं को नए सिरे से टीम चयन पर विचार करना पड़ा. गौरतलब है कि वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने पहले ही साफ कर दिया था कि इंग्लैंड के दौरे पर टीम जाएगी और जिन खिलाड़ियों को दौरे से नाम वापस लेना है वो बोर्ड को इसकी जानकारी दे सकते हैँ. टीम के स्टार खिलाड़ी शिमरोन हेटमेयार, डेरेन ब्रावो और कीमो पॉल ने इंग्लैंड में जाकर सीरीज खेलने से मना कर दिया है.
