China’s top legislature approves national security bill for Hong Kong

China’s top legislature endorsed a resolution authorising its Standing Committee to tailor-make a national security law for Hong Kong on May 28, 2020. The resolution was approved with 2,878 deputies from around the country voting in favour and one voting against, while six abstained.
