According to the 2012 census Buddhists make up 70.1% of the population, Hindus 12.6%, Muslims 9.7% and Christians 7.6%.[25] Most Sinhalese are Buddhist; most Tamils are Hindu; and the Moors and Malays are mostly Muslim. Sizeable minorities of both Sinhalese and Tamils are Christians, most of whom are Roman Catholic. The 1978 constitution, while assuring freedom of religion, gives "the foremost place" to Buddhism.

And also after 2012 census Sri Lanka hasn't any census. So 2020-2050 data analyze from 2012 census. It is only estimated data.
