arrrrrggghhh!!!ces types sont des dingos de la san francisco bay area qui firent un mini carton fin 1967/début 1968 avec cette reprise d'Eddie Cohran,ces trois gonzes étaient le groupe attitré des hell's angels de san francisco et sponsorisés par ces derniers,donc inutile de dire qu'ils étaient plus que persona non grata dans les festivals hippies!!!ils sont également considérés comme les pères fondateurs du hard rock aux states au meme titrer que d'autres (grand funk railroad,cream,hendrix experience...)si qqn veut des infos sur ces types ou en possède,qu'il/elle n'hésite pas à me contacter par

Francisco-based Blue Cheer was what, in the late '60s, they used to call a "power trio": Dickie Peterson (b. 1948, Grand Forks, ND) (bass, vocals), Paul Whaley (drums), and Leigh Stephens (guitar). They played what later was called heavy metal, and when they debuted in January 1968 with the album Vincebus Eruptum and a Top 40 cover of Eddie Cochran's hit "Summertime Blues," they sounded louder and more extreme than anything that had come before them. As it turned out, they were a precursor of much that would come after. Unfortunately, Blue Cheer itself didn't get much chance to profit from its prescience.
